FAQ

 CARE INSTRUCTIONS:

Crochet and Knit Products:

1. Cleaning

  • Hand Wash: Crochet and knit products are best hand-washed to avoid damage from washing machine agitation, which can cause distortion or loose threads. Use warm water and a gentle detergent, avoiding harsh detergents and bleach.
  • Cleaning Method: Soak the product in warm water and gently rub to clean. For stained areas, use a soft-bristled brush to gently scrub. Avoid applying too much pressure to prevent damaging the knit structure.

2. Drying

  • Lay Flat to Dry: Crochet and knit products should be laid flat to dry to prevent stretching and deformation. You can place it on a clean towel and gently pat to remove excess water, then allow it to air dry naturally.
  • Avoid Direct Sunlight: Avoid exposing the product to direct sunlight, as intense sunlight can cause fading or material damage. It’s best to dry the product in a cool, shaded, and well-ventilated area.

3. Storage

  • Keep Dry: Ensure that the storage environment is dry to prevent mold growth or fiber deterioration caused by moisture. Store crochet and knit products in a well-ventilated area.
  • Avoid Heavy Pressure: Avoid placing heavy objects on crochet or knit products to prevent deformation. Use fabric bags, drawers, or boxes to store them, ensuring they retain their shape.

4. Stain Removal

  • Gently Brush: For surface dirt, use a soft-bristled brush (such as an old toothbrush) to gently clean. Be extra careful around edges or seams to avoid pulling or loosening threads.
  • Spot Treatment: For stubborn stains, use a damp cloth to gently blot or apply a fabric cleaner. Always test the cleaner on a small, inconspicuous area first to ensure it won't damage the material.

5. Avoid Chemical Exposure

Crochet and knit products should be kept away from perfumes, cosmetics, cleaning agents, and other chemicals, as they can cause discoloration or damage to the fibers.

6. Regular Inspections

Regularly check crochet and knit products for loose threads, damage, or wear. If you find any issues, repair them promptly. For crochet items, ensure the hook and yarn are tightly secured to prevent loosening.

7. Avoid Pulling

Since crochet and knit products are made from yarn or thread, excessive pulling can cause distortion or breakage. Be careful when wearing or using these items and avoid tugging on them to prevent damage.

8. Avoid Pressure from Weight

If the product is large or heavy (such as a hand-knitted blanket or sweater), avoid long-term exposure to weight-bearing pressure to help maintain its shape.

By following these care instructions, your crochet and knit products will remain in excellent condition, prolonging their lifespan while preserving their original beauty and comfort.

Jewelry:

✨ Jewelry should be treated with mindfulness, love, and care, as it serves as a sacred talisman. Here are some basic yet highly recommended guidelines to ensure the beauty and longevity of your jewelry for a lifetime.

✨ Always put your jewelry on last and take it off first. Jewelry does not like to get wet, especially Opals, which are incredibly delicate.

✨ Apply perfumes, lotions, and hairsprays before wearing your jewelry.

✨ Believe it or not, no matter the price, jewelry that looks delicate is indeed delicate. Treat it like fine silk.

✨ Avoid wearing your jewelry while performing certain chores, such as gardening, washing dishes, or heavy labor.

Beaded and Embellished product:

1. Avoid Contact with Chemicals

  • Keep Away from Perfume and Cosmetics: Beaded and embellished jewelry can be affected by perfume, cosmetics, hairspray, and other chemicals. These substances may cause discoloration or aging of the beads. It’s best to apply your makeup and perfume before wearing your jewelry.
  • Avoid Harsh Cleaners and Chemicals: Keep your jewelry away from harsh cleaners, detergents, bleach, or similar chemicals, as they can damage the surface of the beads or cause corrosion to metal parts.

2. Cleaning

  • Dry Cloth Cleaning: For everyday dirt, gently wipe the surface with a soft dry cloth. Avoid using a wet cloth as moisture can seep into the stitching or crevices, affecting the bead’s attachment.
  • Spot Cleaning: If a more thorough cleaning is needed, use a damp cloth to gently wipe, ensuring the cloth is not too wet. For especially dirty areas, you can use a soft toothbrush (preferably an old one) to gently scrub the bead surface and any crevices.
  • Mild Cleaner: For metal parts (like metal chains or hooks in the jewelry), you can use a diluted mild cleaner to gently wipe, but be careful not to let moisture seep into the beads themselves.

3. Avoid High Heat and Humidity

  • Keep Dry: Beaded jewelry should be stored in a dry environment. Humidity can cause corrosion of the beads and metal parts or even lead to mold growth.
  • Avoid High Heat: Avoid exposing your jewelry to high temperatures (such as direct sunlight or near heat sources), as extreme heat may cause beads to fade or warp, especially plastic or dyed beads.

4. Storage

  • Avoid Pressure: When storing beaded jewelry, keep it away from hard or sharp objects that could scratch the beads or damage the accessories. Store your jewelry in a jewelry box with dividers to prevent it from rubbing against other items.
  • Avoid Pulling: Beaded jewelry, especially those made with threads or strings, should be handled gently to avoid over-stretching. Be mindful when wearing items like necklaces or bracelets, and avoid pulling on them excessively.

5. Regular Inspections

  • Check the Thread: Regularly inspect the threads or strings of your jewelry for any signs of wear, looseness, or breakage. If you find any issues, repair or re-sew the affected area promptly to prevent beads from falling off.
  • Check Metal Components: Inspect the metal parts (such as clasps, chains, and hooks) for any rust or looseness. Clean or replace the metal components as needed.

6. Avoid Intense Physical Activity or Housework

  • Avoid Intense Exercise: It’s best to remove your jewelry when exercising, as vigorous movement can cause it to become deformed, loosen, or break.
  • Avoid Household Chores: When doing tasks like washing dishes, cleaning, or gardening, it’s best not to wear your beaded jewelry. Dirt, friction, or moisture may damage the beads.

7. Avoid Heavy Pressure

  • Avoid Weight Pressure During Storage: When storing beaded or embellished jewelry, avoid placing heavy objects on top of it to prevent deformation or breakage of the beads.

8. Prevent Contact with Sharp Objects

  • Avoid Scratching and Abrasions: Beaded jewelry is particularly susceptible to being scratched by sharp objects, so avoid contact with anything that could potentially damage the beads. When storing your jewelry, place it in a soft container to protect it from accidental damage.

WHERE DO YOU SOURCE YOUR CRYSTALS FROM?

✨ All of the stones in my Crystal Healer collection are truly one-of-a-kind, sourced directly by my gem miner, Thiago, who lives in Brasília, Brazil. However, these unique crystals are found in various regions around the world. I work closely with Thiago to carefully select each stone, ensuring it aligns perfectly both energetically and aesthetically with the collection. Rest assured, all of our stones are ethically sourced.

✨ Once selected, each stone is polished, drilled, and handcrafted to order in our small studios located on Mount Kellett Road in Hong Kong or in Malibu, California.

HOW DO I KNOW WHICH STONE IS FOR ME?

✨ I always recommend trusting your intuition first and foremost. Often, your initial instinct will guide you to the right stone that aligns with the energy you need in your life right now. Don’t overthink it—your intuition knows best!

✨ Here’s a simple exercise to help clear your mind and become more present with your current energy:

  1. Close your eyes and take a few slow, deep breaths.
  2. Focus on the ground beneath your feet, allowing your body to relax into a comfortable, natural state.
  3. Visualize yourself surrounded by a bright, warm pyramid of white light as you exhale.
  4. Let go of any lingering stresses, and invite your subconscious to come forward.
  5. Scroll through the images and see which stones visually draw you in. Then, read about their energy and see which one resonates most.

💌 Hint: You can't make the wrong choice! Trust the process and let your inner wisdom lead you.
